(a) whether in case of death of woman within a week of tubectomy under the family welfare programme, there is provision of compensaton;  (b) if so, the details thereof; and  (c) the number of women provided compensation under the said scheme during the last three years, State-wise? ANSWER MINISTER OF THE STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH & FAMILY WELFARE (SHRI GHULAM NABI AZAD)  (a) to (b):- Under the family planning insurance scheme, there is a provision for payment of compensation in the case of death of woman who has undergone tubectomy operation within in a week and within a period of 8-30 days.  (c): The details are given in the statement annexed.
