(a) whether the Government propose to construct an airport at Bikaner; and  (b) if so, the time by which a decision is likely to be taken in this regard? ANSWER MINISTER OF STATE (INDEPENDENT CHARGE) OF THE MINISTRY OF CIVIL AVIATION (SHRI PRAFUL PATEL)  (a) & (b) At present, there is no proposal for construction of a new airport at Bikaner. However, Airports Authority of India (AAI) has a plan to develop a Civil Enclave at Bikaner airport which belongs to Indian Air Force (IAF), Ministry of Defence.
