MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF TOURISM (SHRI SULTAN AHMED)
(a) to (c): Development of tourism including setting up of tourist circuits is primarily undertaken by the State Governments/ Union Territory Administrations. Ministry of Tourism, however, provides financial assistance for tourism projects on the basis of proposals received from them subject to availability of funds and inter-se priority. State- wise details of projects sanctioned by the Ministry of Tourism for development and promotion of tourism including tourist circuits during the last three years and the current year up to June 30, 2010 are at Annexure.
